Happy New Year! After enjoying Christmas in Arusha we went to the village for a few days to ring in the New Year.
While we were there Max and Elly put on some of their new Christmas clothes and we did an impromptu photo shoot under our big mango tree.
Elly casually perched her sunglasses on top of her head–a natural-born model.
I was really taken aback by this photo of Max. He looks so grown up! I’m not ready for that!
I never get tired of seeing these two wrapped up together in a big hug!
Of course, there was plenty of silliness, too. To prove my point, here are two bonus photos for this week’s 5 Photo Friday:
Max decided to try eating a stick. Elly found that to be quite peculiar.
And when Max wasn’t in the mood to smile for the camera, Elly attempted to persuade him.
Max also thought it would be fashionable to wear his bright blue rain boots with his new outfit.
Without a doubt, 2015 will be an awesome year with Max and Elly around! We wish you all wonderful, joyful days in the New Year!
Thank you for those wonderful pictures, Brenda.
I wish you and your family a wonderful New Year!
Thank you, Cecil Maureen! So happy we can stay connected via cyberspace despite all the miles between us!
We so enjoyed the photos. You have beautiful children. We wish you and your family a Blessed 2015!
Thank you, Janis! Wishing you a joy-filled 2015 as well!
Awesome photos. Those two are just tooooo cute! Blessings for a wonderful, happy year to all your family. Keep on blogging.
Thanks, Marlyce! I promise to keep blogging! Hoping to explore a wider range of topics this year–but still plenty of posts about the adventures of Max and Elly!
Happy 2015!
Brenda, I just read your article Journey of Faith in Gather Magazine. I bet you go to the same Bible Study as my friend Linda Jacobson, and if so, you are blessed! I enjoyed your message, and I love the pictures of your twins. Asante!
Hi Rachel, nice to hear from you! Yes, the Bible study I attend is the same as Linda. In fact, the “longtime Lutheran missionary” I refer to in the article is Linda!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope you’ll visit again!
