5 Household Chores I Didn’t Have to Do in Baltimore

5 Household Chores I Didn't Have to Do in Baltimore

Here are five household chores I never had to do in Baltimore that are regular duties here in Arusha:

  1. Repair holes in mosquito nets.
  2. Pump water into a reserve tank in case the municipal water supply is cut off.
  3. Collect freshly laid eggs from the chicken house.
  4. Hand wash my underwear while I take a shower.
  5. Buy charcoal from a Maasai woman off the back of her donkey.

But then again, here are five household chores I never have to do in Arusha:

  1. Shovel snow.
  2. Shovel snow.
  3. Shovel snow.
  4. Shovel snow.
  5. Shovel snow.

Have a fun winter, my friends back home! 🙂

Yup we are having a cold, snowy, early winter! I’m going to be a winter Texan and leave it all behind. 🙂
